AP voter George Geise did not vote this week (week 7) in the Men's Basketball
Poll. No replacement was or will be made.

Preseason Polls Released With A First (posted
11/3/08)
As reported by the AP, the
North Carolina Tar Heels are the first unanimous preseason No. 1 since the
Men's Preseason Basketball Poll began in 1981-82.
The Women's preseason poll was close, but fell one short.
Connecticut received 44 first-place votes while
Stanford received the only other first-place vote.

Women BB Poll Released (posted 11/3/08)
The Preseason Women's AP Basketball Poll for the 08-09
season was released on Sunday 11/2/08, and the ballots were made public today.
You can now find them in Pollstalker using the
AP Poll Women BB 09-09 Report. When the Coaches' Poll and other
rankings are released we'll add a Women BB All Polls Report.

Men Basketball Polls Released (posted 10/31/08)
The Men's preseason AP and USA Today/ESPN Coaches' Polls have been released and
entered into Pollstalker. One AP ballot is still missing -- Will
Vandervort. We have notified the AP and will update Pollstalker when his
ballot is made available.
POLLSTALKER can compare all polls using the
Men BB All Polls Report or analyze individual ballots using the
AP Poll Men BB 08-09 Report.
UPDATE:
Vandervort's ballot has been found and entered into Pollstalker. There
was a typo in the link on the AP site, which should be corrected by Monday.
